Plant Trees to Mitigate
Carbon Footprint
How the process works
We measure the amount of carbon dioxide in the field before planting any trees by polling the soil.
We find the best trees, with the highest NARs to plant in the field, that are compatible with the region.
After plantation, we measure the carbon dioxide sequestered in the soil again by polling and sending it to lab.
What is Carbon Footprint & How to Mitigate It?
Carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases, like CO2, produced directly or indirectly by an individual, organization, or activity. To have a healthy planet, we need to make less CO2, or offset the amount we have already emitted. Mitigating our emitted CO2 can be achieved by adopting sustainable practices, reducing energy consumption, and supporting carbon offset initiatives.
We only have one earth, and it's in need of our help. We have been using our planet's natural resources without any long term plan, we have been creating lots of wastes and toxins in the process. This has to change. To learn the basics of living a carbon-zero life and what is at stake, read out blog.
Should Businesses Care About Carbon Efficiency?
Businesses, just like individuals, emit CO2 in the process of their operation. Companies with an environmental concern, often seek to mitigate their footprint.
